Cyle Johnson

Cyle Johnson started in the automotive industry back in 2014, when he was given the opportunity to work at a Ford dealership in Julesburg as a shop kid. He worked his way up quickly, earning his spot as a mechanic within a year—and he’s been building skills ever since.

Some of Cyle’s favorite automotive memories don’t involve shiny builds or big wins, but something better: helping his dad keep an old truck on the road. Whether that meant swapping brakes or creatively “persuading” a fuel tank to cooperate (anyone else still swear by the thump test?), those moments stuck with him and helped shape why he enjoys this line of work so much.

What keeps Cyle passionate about the industry is helping people and fixing things not just anyone can fix. He enjoys the challenge, the problem-solving, and the satisfaction of getting something done the right way—and he takes pride in knowing why a repair works, not just that it does.

Cyle owns an ’03 F-250 that he’s been upgrading over time. The long-term vision? A heavily modified rock crawler (giving new meaning to the terms “break/fix”). He brings a wide range of experience to the shop as well, with skills that include carpentry, residential electrical work, agricultural animal care, and more—which makes him the kind of guy who can usually figure things out, even if it’s the first time he’s seen the problem.

He joined the Bullet Automotive & Diesel team at our Fort Morgan location in late February of 2025, drawn to the atmosphere of the shop and a work environment that fit his personality. We were happy to bring him on board!

When he’s not in the shop taking care of customer vehicles, Cyle enjoys playing darts, helping friends with their vehicles, and working out in his off time. Looking ahead, he hopes to run his own business someday—far down the road—but for now, he’s focused on learning, growing, and doing solid work every day.
